Christy Register holds the ABR (Accredited Buyer Representative) accreditation and focuses solely on the needs of buyers as Shane Register Real Estate Group’s Broker-in-Charge. With her husband Shane, Christy has played a fundamental role in building the multi-million-dollar producing real estate team. Whether you are considering purchasing your first home, buying a vacation getaway, scaling up to a larger residence, or relocating, Christy can help you fulfill your home-ownership dreams.

Christy grew up in a small mountain town in West Virginia, the youngest of six children, where a love for learning, family, and God was instilled. Although her childhood dream was to be an artist, she eventually opted for a career in drafting while pursuing higher education. After graduating magna cum laude from Concord University with a BS in Education, Christy moved south to Wilmington, NC. During her early years in Wilmington, she taught middle school Language Arts in Pender and New Hanover County. She later married a native Wilmingtonian, Shane Register, and took a hiatus from teaching to concentrate on being a wife and mother. 

Following this hiatus, Christy made the decision to enter real estate. Today, she loves working in real estate because of the people that she has the opportunity to connect with. When she is not helping others through her work, Christy enjoys being with her family, cooking, reading, attending church, and supporting locally-owned restaurants and businesses.
