Clay Shifflett is a designated REALTOR® who brings a client-first approach to every transaction.

Clay’s path to the real estate industry grew out of a long-standing interest in the real estate market and a strong background in investment property management. With a degree in business management from James Madison University, he brings a strategic, business-minded perspective that helps clients feel confident through every step of the home-buying or selling process. Drawing on his financial acumen and solution-oriented problem-solving skills, he is motivated to make the home-buying or selling process smooth and stress-free while helping his clients reach their goals. 

Originally from Harrisonburg, Virginia, Clay is deeply rooted in the greater Wilmington area. A former operations manager in the UNCW system, Clay oversaw complex sales policies and procedures while serving as a liaison for the University. Today, he draws on that experience, leveraging his relationship-building and communication skills, along with his strong local network, to guide his clients with clarity and reliability.

Clay resides in Historic Downtown Wilmington, where he enjoys catching sunsets along the river and meeting new people. During the summer months, you’ll find him outdoors, whether boating, golfing, or spending time at Carolina Beach.
